My friends (Kasi Hicks, Lauren Tanking, Kristen Zlogar, and Jill Kinsey) and I are from Harrisburg, PA but we went to see Honor Society on their Full Moon Crazy Tour at the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia on July 23, 2009. The concert wasn't until 11:00 P.M. but we got to Philly around 10:00 A.M. We went right to the venue to be sure that we were the first people in line.

We know that the gents have been planning Meet and Greets at Verizon stores, movie theaters for Bandslam screenings, PPP's, etc. So we paid close attention to our Twitters to find out where they would be on this day. Around noon we saw their bus, Clifford, drive past the venue. The bus driver told us that they were doing a Bandslam screening and Meet and Greet but he didn't know where or what time. Around 2:15, we got a Twitter message from Jason that gave us the address and time (2:30) that the Meet and Greet was. Seeing as there was only 15 minutes until 2:30, we bolted to my car, put the address in the GPS, and sped the entire way to the movie theater.

Once there, we realized that we had to have tickets to get into the movie theater to meet them. Luckily, there were 2 families there who were nice enough to give us their tickets! We were afraid we were going to miss them so we ran down the hall to where they were at. They were at the very end of the hallway and there were still a couple fans there. As we were running, we were screaming because we were really, really excited that we were going to meet them (for the 2nd time I might add -- we met them before in Hershey in May!)

They heard and saw us coming and left the other fans right away to come up and give us all hugs and talk to us! Ned was also very excited (he videotaped the entire meeting). Andy said something about how loud we were being and we said it was because we were excited that we didn't miss them. He answered by saying that we were kind of like cheerleaders because we were so loud! Kasi and I are, in fact, cheerleaders and we told him that. Ned then said that maybe they could be your official cheerleaders. All the guys agreed and Andy said that we should be called "The Honorettes!" We were obviously very excited that we now had an official name and they would now recognize us whenever we would meet them again! We then took tons of pictures with them and they kindly signed a bunch of our stuff.

We then proceeded to give them their presents! We made instruments out of everyday household items. Michael got a mike made out of paper towel rolls and styrofoam. Alexander got drums made out of toilet paper rolls, parchment paper, Q-tips, and toothpicks. Jason got a piano made out of cardboard. And Andy got a guitar made out of styrofoam. And because the gents are so fond of IHOP, we bought them each an IHOP gift card and hid it somewhere in their instrument. Of course, they loved their presents and they said that they would never forget their Honorettes!

I just thought I'd share this story with you so that more people know about The Honorettes :) I attached a picture of friends and me with Honor Society!
